VOTE EARLY

Vote by Mail

Request an absentee ballot now.


Last day to vote online or by mail is October 21 (starting October 22, you’ll need to register in person at your city or township clerk’s office with proof of residency).

Your ballot must be received by 8pm on November 5 to count. You can return your completed absentee ballot to your city or township clerk's office, a satellite office provided by your clerk, or a secure drop box provided by your clerk.

Vote Early In-Person

The first day you can vote in person is October 26, through Sunday, November 3 at 4pm.


1. Find your early vote location at mi.gov/vote and click on "Your voter information." You can also call your city or township clerk and ask for information.


2. Go to an early voting site for your community and vote.

If you happen to miss early voting, no worries you can still vote election day.

Polls are open from 7am-8pm on election day. If you are in line by 8pm on election day you can vote. If you need to register, you can do so at your local clerk's office until 8 pm.
